Ionian Hotels

Corfu

Corfu is famous for its beautiful beaches. As Corfu is a Ionian Sea island the beaches differ from the Aegean Sea.

The emerald waters and the sandy or pebbled beaches will fascinate every traveller and the great variety of beaches all around the island will satisfy even the most demanding ones.

The great majority of the beaches are organised with umbrellas and sun beds and many of them have sea sports facilities.

By the sea one can find several hotels or apartments to stay and restaurants and beach bars in order to enjoy a light meal or a snack or a refreshing drink.

Some of the beaches have been awarded with the blue flag , the European guarantee for their cleanliness. Swimming in the beaches in Corfu is a unique experience you should not miss.
